On these two chairs, the parchment had been replaced with fabric. This fabric had been secured where a staggered tooth moulding should have been; this, too, had disappeared. The stamped brass plates (60 in total) had also disappeared. Finally, the silk braiding had been lost. All these components were reconstructed on the basis of the remaining traces and examples from the collection and the internet.

Restored by Koolwijk Meubelrestauratie / Furniture Restoration in 2022. Work carried out included: The parchment, the copper squares and octagonal plates and the wickerwork were lost. A reconstruction has been made of this.
